Our Story

I was born and raised in Minnesota where I had the pleasure of enjoying the outdoors and a life filled with adventures. Family and basketball were my passions and I always collected sports cards with my father. My interest in numismatics wouldn’t come until later on in my adolescent years. I remember it like it was yesterday; my dad letting me see and hold his money clip that had a buffalo nickel set into it. Although I now know this would be considered detrimental to the coins numismatic value, at the time I remember thinking that it was so cool to see something like that and wondered where it might have been before it ended up in the silver money clip. This began the story of my interest in coins. From small childhood collections of coins I thought just looked cool (all of which had only intrinsic value to me), to this adventure where I am hoping to bring the hobby to as many people as possible through education and lifelong partnerships. I know that I still have a lot that I don’t know. That is honestly the best part about this journey and I hope to be able to continue to learn, mentor others, and create friendships along the way.
